Team Up: an Occupational Therapy group programme

A structured, supportive group at Cornerstone for children already known to our clinical team, grouped by skill level rather than age. Led by Patricia, who heads our Occupational Therapy department.

Consultation and assessment fees are explained before booking.

Is Team Up right for my child?

Team Up runs only at Cornerstone, and it is an extension of the clinical pathway for children already known to our team. Your child will already be in therapy at Cornerstone, will have had an initial consultation or assessment, and will have been observed by the clinical team over a period of therapy. Once the team feels your child is suitable and ready, they recommend moving them into the group. It is a mixed group of up to 10 children, grouped by skill level rather than by age.

What progress can look like

Within the group, therapists give each child the individual support they need to take part meaningfully and work toward their own goals.

What this is
A fixed group package, not one-to-one therapy. Carryovers and adjustments are not possible in the way individual sessions allow.
Who it’s for
A mixed group of up to 10 children already known to the Cornerstone clinical team, grouped by skill level (beginner, intermediate or advanced) rather than by age.
How to start
Your child is already in therapy with us. When the team feels your child is ready, they recommend the group; families do not enrol directly.
When it runs
Thursdays, 5:00 to 6:00 pm. The team confirms the current group and centre when you enquire.
Fee
₹3,200 per month, as a fixed group package.

Our approach

Team Up is part of the clinical pathway, not a separate entry point. It is for children who already attend Cornerstone, have had an initial consultation or assessment, and have been observed by the team across a period of therapy. When the clinical team judges that a child is suitable and ready, they recommend the group.

Team Up is a structured, supportive group where every child can feel part of something and succeed. Sessions draw on movement, sensory experiences, games, obstacle courses, creative tasks, and shared projects, alongside everyday skill-building.

Children are grouped by skill level rather than age, so the activities can be pitched at the right stage for everyone in the room. Within the group, therapists give each child the individual support they need to take part meaningfully and work toward their own goals.

Who may benefit

  • Group participation and school readiness

Skills through connection

Children learn best when they feel connected, supported and engaged. Through shared activities and guided participation, skills build for home, school and the community.

Skills through connection

At the heart of Team Up is a simple belief: children learn best when they feel connected, supported, and engaged.

Through shared activities and guided participation, children build the skills they need at home, in school, and in their community. Their own strengths and individuality are recognised as well.
