Why Cornerstone

Three reasons you can test for yourself.

A useful promise should leave evidence: a plan you can read, clinicians who know their limits, and fees you can see before deciding.

We work with the whole child, not a single label. Whether the concern is communication, movement, sensory processing, feeding, behaviour, or daily independence, and whether or not there is a diagnosis, the plan is built around your child’s own profile.

Consultation and assessment fees are explained before booking.

01

The plan starts with your child

Assessment comes before therapy so the plan can name the child’s own strengths, difficulties, and useful goals. If therapy begins, those goals are written down and reviewed with you. The example below shows what that looks like in practice.

Tangible proof: ask to see the goals, what changed, and what the next review will measure.

02

The relevant clinicians can work from one picture

Speech, movement, learning, behaviour, and daily life often overlap. When more than one service is involved, the clinicians can coordinate rather than leave the parent carrying separate plans between rooms. School contact happens only with your permission and is separately arranged.

Availability is explicit: speech and occupational therapy run at both centres; psychology and educational support run at Kalyan Nagar.

03

You hear the limits before you decide

The team explains who provides a service, what it can cover, and when another provider would fit better. The first phone conversation is free; a consultation is ₹1,000, therapy starts at ₹900, and detailed evaluations are typically ₹2,500–₹4,000+. If Cornerstone is not the right team, the answer should still help you move forward.

Tangible proof: the fees are published, and assessment prices are explained before booking.

An illustrative example

What ‘a plan you can read’ looks like in practice

One illustrative example of the pattern above: a parent’s worry becomes a written goal, something to look for at home, and a review date. It is not a real child, and no timing or result is promised.

  1. 01Starting point

    What a parent brings

“Mornings are hard. My child wants to dress on their own, but gets stuck with the zip or the shoe and ends up in tears instead of asking for help.”

  2. 02Written goal

    What the plan states

“By the review, your child will ask for help when a dressing step is hard, in a few everyday moments, with a little support to begin. They may use a word, a gesture, a picture, or a communication aid, whichever works for them.”

  3. 03Everyday sign

    What you can watch for

Your child asks for help more often instead of getting upset, and needs a little less help to finish dressing over time.

  4. 04About four months later

    What the review checks

How often your child asked for help and how much help the step needed. The goal is kept, changed, or replaced.

An illustrative example only, not a real child’s outcome and not a promise of timing or results.

What purposeful play means

Play can help a therapist observe and practise a skill; the therapist should explain the purpose and what you can try next.

What purposeful play means

For some children, play is how a therapist observes, builds trust, and practises a skill. The activity should have a reason, and the therapist should be able to explain that reason and what you can try next.

What to ask before starting

Ask who will work with your child, what the assessment is for, how progress is reviewed, where it runs, and the full expected cost.

What to ask before starting

Ask who will work with your child, what assessment is recommended, how progress will be reviewed, and whether the service runs at your preferred centre. Ask the full expected cost before booking.

With your consent, the team can also coordinate with school where that is useful and separately arranged.
